Las Vegas is approximately 4 hours from Los Angeles.  A simple drive south on I-15 through Bakersville will take you through San Bernadino and into Los Angeles.

Phoenix is approximately 6 hours drive beginning down the 95 which takes you across the Hoover Dam and into Arizona.

Utah is north on I-15 and it only takes 1 hour to hit the Utah border and small towns like St. George.  Salt Lake City though is a much longer drive.
